- Generic label generation. This program works with dBase III/dBase IV,
- Quicksilver, Clipper, Foxbase and other such dBase style files (.DBFs).
-
- The user is prompted to enter a file name (and can include path for a file
- not in the current directory) and an index (optional). The user is then
- provided with a list of fields in that file and can select those he/she
- wishes to see in a label. Also available (as the last selections on the
- pick list) are <blank line> and input text. Any text input will appear on
- every label.
-
- Further selections are width of label, number of labels across one page,
- number of blank lines after each label, starting and stoping values (for
- printing only part of your file), and whether or not you wish to print
- directly to your printer, or to a file for later printing.
-
- Label width and number of lines following a label should be selected
- carefully. If you are using formatted label paper, use the <width> and
- <lines after> parameters to place the print head on the next label, not
- at the end of the first. The second label will commence where the first
- left off.
